Wine e-label with a QR codeYour wine
Your story
Your e-label
An e-label for wine brings real benefits – and it is a legal requirement.
The current EU regulation requires wine producers to declare the nutrition information and ingredients of wine products.
This information can be presented with an electronic e-label, which you can configure and create yourself on this page.
Configure your e-labelWhat is a wine e-label?
An e-label consists of a QR code and a linked web page for the wine that shows the information you need (both the mandatory data and anything you want to add yourself).
We have clearly marked the mandatory data on nutrition values, ingredients and other requirements. Here you get an intuitive tool for creating personalised wine e-labels quickly and efficiently.
You can now add GS1 Digital Links to your e-labels, containing GTIN codes and the information needed to enter the product into stock records.
With Atomic Systems you easily meet all EU requirements set out in:
How it works:
Enter a description of your wine and design its page (it only takes a moment). What your customers will see after scanning the QR code, you see straight away in the preview.
Choose how you want to work with us and we generate a QR code for every bottle together with the wine’s web page.
That’s it. Download the QR code and print it on your label – or let us produce the labels for you.

winelabel.atomicsystems.pl/Wine/example1.htmlPricing and publishing
One e-label = one wine with a vintage. You publish one per year free of charge and buy more in packs – packs never expire and add up with every purchase. From the second year, every e-label you create has a fixed hosting fee of €1.90 net per year. Corrections to published e-labels are always free and unlimited.
“Your QR code always works” guarantee
Every e-label published from a paid pack keeps the same address for at least 10 years from the transaction date (pack purchase) – the code printed on your bottles will not stop working. The first year of hosting is included in the price; in the following years the e-labels are kept online by an annual hosting fee of €1.90 net per e-label created, regardless of the pack. A free Start e-label also has its first year included and can be kept online afterwards for the same fee.
All prices are net prices in euro (EUR). EU companies with an EU VAT number buy without VAT (reverse charge), EU companies without an EU VAT number pay 23% VAT, and companies outside the EU buy without VAT. We match the price list to your country (the “Country” field in the configurator or, if it is empty, your device’s location), not to the language version of the page; in the order, the country of your company decides. You request a VAT invoice after payment in “My account” – we deliver it by e-mail within 7 days.

How we count e-labels
- One e-label = one wine with a vintage. It has one permanent address: the winery folder assigned to your account + the full wine name (without spaces and special characters) + the vintage, e.g. …/Wine/WinnicaPrzykladowa/RieslingReserve2023.html. A new vintage is a new e-label. Changing the wine name or vintage creates a new address and uses another e-label – the old address keeps working.
- Packs add up. Buy any packs as often as you like – the e-labels are added to your account and never expire. We only use them when you publish a new wine, starting with the oldest purchase.
- Corrections are free and unlimited for the whole life of the e-label – you change the data in the panel after logging in; the address and the QR code stay the same.
- Permanent address guarantee: an e-label from a paid pack keeps the same address for at least 10 years from the transaction date (pack purchase); from the second year it is kept online by the annual hosting fee. The guarantee date of every e-label is shown in “My account”.
- Free Start option: 1 new e-label every 12 months, only for accounts that have not bought anything. It does not accumulate and is not added to packs. The first year of hosting is free; after that a Start e-label is kept online by the hosting fee like any other.
- Hosting fee: €1.90 net per year for every e-label created (published) – fixed and independent of the pack; it is charged on e-labels used, not on e-labels bought. Every e-label has its first 12 months included. Your account has one billing date – the anniversary of your first purchase (without purchases: of your first publication); on that date we charge the fee for the next year, and for e-labels created in the last 12 months only proportionally, for the full months since they were created. We remind you in the service and by e-mail, and you have 30 days to pay.
- Price list: Pack 3 – €19, Vineyard – €49, Producer – €146, Unlimited – €196, hosting fee – €1.90 per e-label per year (net prices).

Account and login
Do I need to create an account?
The configurator and preview work without an account – you can try everything, but changes are not saved (without logging in the configurator always starts from the example). You need an account to save drafts, buy a pack and publish an e-label.
At what address does Wine Label work?
The service runs at winelabel.atomicsystems.pl and is operated by Atomic Systems Sp. z o.o. The e-label pages are published in the same domain (…/Wine/…), so the QR code on the bottle always leads to the service that maintains them. You will find your account panel, payments and invoices on the same page after logging in.
How do I create an account and log in?
Click “Create account” at the top of the page and enter the winery details (name, contact person, e-mail) and a password – at least 8 characters. We will send a confirmation link to your e-mail address. Once you click it, the account is active and you log in with your e-mail and password (“Log in” button). Until the address is confirmed, you cannot buy a pack or publish e-labels.
I did not receive the e-mail with the confirmation link
Check your SPAM folder and make sure the address has no typo (you can correct it with the “Correct address” button). You can resend the link with the “Resend confirmation link” button in the login window or in “My account” – another message can be requested after a short break. If that does not help, write to biuro@atomicsystems.pl.
I forgot my password
In the login window click “Forgot your password?” and enter the account e-mail – we will send you a link to set a new password.
How do I log out?
Use the log-out icon next to the account name in the top bar (visible only when logged in) or the “Log out” button in the “My account” window.
Where is my data saved?
Drafts – what you type in the configurator – are saved automatically in this browser, separately for each account. They are not sent to the server and will not move to another device. On the server we store the account data, payment history and published e-labels. The “Restore starting values” button returns to the example.
Filling in the fields
Where do I start?
The configurator starts with a ready-made example (including translations into all languages) – replace the data with your own, and the preview on the right updates as you type. Required for publication: wine name, vintage, variety, producer, country, volume, energy (kJ and kcal), carbohydrates, sugars, alcohol content and contact e-mail; we will point out any missing fields before publishing. All other fields are optional, and empty ones are not shown on the page.
Which fields are required and which are optional?
Fields required for publication have a subtle blue outline in the configurator: wine name, vintage, variety, producer, country, volume, energy (kJ and kcal), carbohydrates, sugars, alcohol content and contact e-mail. All other fields – with the ordinary dark outline – are optional: if you leave them empty, they do not appear on the wine page. If a required value is missing when you publish, the field gets a red outline and the page scrolls to the first missing field; the outline disappears once you fill it in. The colours are explained at the top of the configurator. The wine name and vintage also have a blue bar on the left and the “e-label address” badge – they form the page address and cannot be changed after publication.
How do I enter the vintage, volume and GTIN?
The vintage is exactly 4 digits (e.g. 2023). The volume is a number with the unit ml, cl or l (e.g. 750 ml). A GTIN (EAN) has 8, 12, 13 or 14 digits – we check the check digit and tell you whether the code is correct. The serial number, batch (LOT) and product code can have up to 30 characters.
Do the fields have length limits?
Yes – no field is unlimited; a field simply will not accept more characters. Wine name, variety, producer, region and appellation: up to 60 characters; wine description and own information: up to 1000; “Serve with” and serving and storage: up to 200; other ingredients and other recycling information: up to 300. Fields such as phone, tax ID/VAT or control body code accept only permitted characters.
How do I fill in the nutrition declaration?
Values are given per 100 ml. The “Calculate energy from alcohol and carbohydrates” button calculates kJ and kcal using the formula from Regulation 1169/2011 (ethanol 29 kJ/g, carbohydrates 17 kJ/g) – you can correct the result manually, e.g. according to a laboratory analysis. If fat, saturates, protein and salt are present in negligible amounts, tick “negligible amounts” – the page will show the appropriate statement instead of a table.
How do I mark ingredients and allergens?
In the Ingredients section tick only what was actually used: grapes, fruit, sugars and sweeteners, acidity regulators, stabilisers, preservatives (e.g. sulphites), gases and fining agents. The names are translated automatically into the selected languages, and hovering over an item shows its foreign names. Sulphites, eggs and milk are shown in bold, and the “Contains sulphites / eggs / milk” statement appears only when the relevant substance is ticked. Anything not on the list can be added in the “Other ingredients / notes” field.
What are product features and recycling for?
Features (organic wine – with a field for the control body code, biodynamic, vegan, no added sulphites, hand-harvested) are shown with pictograms. In the recycling section tick the packaging elements (bottle, cork, cap, label, carton) and we tell the consumer where to dispose of them.
Can I hide sections I do not need?
Yes. In “Visible sections” untick the ones you do not want to show on the wine page.
How do I change the design of the page?
In the Design section you set the colours (background, cards, text, accent), font (13 typefaces), text size (14, 15 or 16 px) and the card border decoration: line, double line, dashed, dotted, corners, frame within a frame, bar or diamond – with your own colour and width. The fonts are system fonts (nothing loaded from outside), so some devices will replace them with similar ones. Below the settings we show the contrast of text to background – the recommended minimum is 4.5:1.
Can I add my own information about the wine?
Yes – in the “Producer’s own information” field (up to 1000 characters) you can describe e.g. ageing, the history of the winery or invite visitors to a tasting. Remember that EU rules do not allow the e-label to be used for marketing purposes, so keep it factual. The page uses no cookies or tracking tools.
Language versions
In which languages can I prepare an e-label?
Polish, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. In the “Language versions” section tick the languages in which the page should be available – at least one.
Is the Polish version mandatory?
No, Polish is an ordinary choice like the other languages. If, for example, a batch is exported to the UK, untick “Polish” – the Polish fields disappear and the page is shown only in the other selected languages. You choose the default language of the e-label yourself in the configurator (the “Default language of the e-label” field in the Language versions section).
What is translated automatically and what do I enter myself?
Automatically: section headings, wine type and sweetness, ingredients (including allergens), features, recycling, country names, nutrition labels, footer and buttons. You enter your own texts yourself: wine description, “Serve with”, serving and storage, producer’s own information and, if needed, “Other ingredients” and “Other recycling information” – in the fields for each language (the Polish ones are in the main sections, marked “PL”). Wine name, variety, producer and contact details are shared by all languages. We start with texts from the example – replace them with your own, ideally checked by someone who knows the language.
How does a visitor choose the language?
The e-label page chooses its language automatically in this order: 1) the language of the country where it is opened; 2) if the country cannot be matched or its language is not in the set – the language set on the visitor’s phone; 3) in all other cases – the default language of the e-label, which you choose in the configurator. There are language buttons with flags at the top of the page (e.g. PL, EN, DE), so visitors can always switch the version with one tap.
What is the default language of the e-label and where do I set it?
It is the language in which the page opens when neither the country nor the phone language can be matched. You set it in the configurator, in the “Language versions” section (the “Default language of the e-label” field); only the languages selected for that e-label are available. The default language is also the first language button on the page, the preview language in the configurator and the source of text for fields you do not fill in other languages. It is saved with the e-label and you can change it with every edit – free of charge.
How does the page recognise the country? Does it collect any data?
We recognise the country by the time zone set on the phone (e.g. Europe/Berlin – Germany). This happens only on the visitor’s phone: the page sends no data anywhere, uses no cookies, does not check the IP address or GPS location and does not connect to any external services. This keeps the e-label in line with the EU rule that wine information must not be used to track consumers.
Which countries are recognised?
Poland – Polish; Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein – German; France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Monaco – French; Italy, San Marino and the Vatican – Italian; Spain (including the Canary Islands), Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Ecuador – Spanish; the United Kingdom, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand – English. The country’s language is chosen only if it is selected for the given e-label. In other countries (e.g. Czechia, the Netherlands, Japan) the page opens in the phone’s language, and if that is not in the set either – in the default language.
What if someone scans the code abroad, e.g. a tourist?
The country where the code is scanned takes priority: a German tourist in Poland will first see the Polish version (if it is in the set) and can switch to German with one tap on the DE button at the top of the page. The choice is always visible and does not require reloading the page.
How do I link to a specific language version?
Add the lang parameter to the e-label address, e.g. …/RieslingReserve2023.html?lang=de (pl, en, de, fr, it or es). Such a link always opens the specified language, regardless of the country and phone settings – useful e.g. in a catalogue for an importer or in an e-mail to a foreign customer. The QR code on the bottle stays without the parameter so that everyone gets their language automatically.
What happens if I do not fill in a text in one of the languages?
We show the text from the default language (and if it is empty there too – from the next filled-in language) so that there is no blank space – but it is better to complete all the selected languages.
Do older e-labels also choose the language by country?
Pages published before this feature was introduced open in the phone’s language, and if it is not in the set – in the first selected language. To enable choosing by country and set the default language, open the e-label in “My account” → “Edit e-labels” and click “Save changes”. It is free of charge, and the address and QR code do not change.
What language is the Wine Label service in?
You choose the language version of the service – the website, configurator, account panel, FAQ, terms and e-mails – with the small flag buttons at the top of the page. On your first visit to the home page the service suggests the version matching the country you are in, and remembers your choice in the browser. We send e-mails in the language of the version you used most recently. The Polish version of the terms is binding. Regardless of the service version, the e-labels themselves can be prepared in six languages: Polish, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
Publishing, packs and payments
What will the wine page look like?
Exactly as in the phone preview in the configurator – the preview updates as you type and shows the page generated from the template, in the selected colours, font and languages. You can open a ready-made example e-label in the “Example” section – scan the QR code with your phone or click the link winelabel.atomicsystems.pl/Wine/example1.html.
How do I publish an e-label and where will it be available?
Create an account (1 e-label per year is free), fill in the data and click “Publish the e-label online”. The page will appear at winelabel.atomicsystems.pl/Wine/folder/WineName2023.html – the exact address is shown next to the publish button. When you are logged in, the publishing window has an orange frame and is called the “E-label publishing panel”. In it you will find the publish button, information on which e-label will be used (from a pack or the free Start one), the configuration preview (JSON), the QR code to download and the “Restore starting values” button. Without logging in the panel shows the same tools, and publishing becomes available after logging in.
Where do I download the QR code and which code belongs to which wine?
You download the QR code in the E-label publishing panel (orange frame next to the form, above the preview). Above the code it says which e-label it leads to (wine name and vintage) together with the full page address; the file is saved as QR_WineName2023 in SVG, PNG or JPG 1024 px format. Each e-label has its own permanent code – changing the wine name or vintage creates a new e-label and a new code, so on the label of a given wine use the code marked with its name. The code starts working after publication, and later edits do not change the address. On the e-label page itself (on the phone) the code is only displayed – it cannot be downloaded there.
What are the options and how much do they cost?
Net prices: Start – €0 (1 new e-label per year), Pack 3 – €19 (3 e-labels), Vineyard – €49 (15 e-labels), Producer – €146 (50 e-labels), Unlimited – €196 (any number of e-labels), pilot programme – €29 (Vineyard pack). From the second year a fixed hosting fee applies: €1.90 net per year for every e-label created. VAT depends on the country of your company – see the VAT question below. Packs are paid once online (card, bank transfer or BLIK via Przelewy24), never expire and add up. You request a VAT invoice after payment in “My account” – we deliver it by e-mail within 7 days.
What is the hosting fee and when do I pay it?
It is a fixed annual fee for keeping every e-label you create online: €1.90 net, regardless of the pack you chose. It is charged on e-labels used (published), not on e-labels bought – unused e-labels from a pack cost nothing. Every e-label has its first 12 months included. Your account has one billing date: the anniversary of your first purchase (on an account without purchases – of your first publication). On that anniversary we charge the fee for the next year: in full for e-labels older than one year, and for e-labels created in the last 12 months proportionally, only for the full months since they were created. We remind you in “My account” and by e-mail; you have 30 days to pay. You can pay online with the button in “My account” or by bank transfer against an invoice.
How do I get a VAT invoice?
After paying, open “My account” – in the payments table there is a “Request an invoice” button next to each paid item. In the form you enter the company name, country, tax number (EU VAT number for companies from EU countries, NIP for Polish companies, any tax ID for companies outside the EU) and address (we remember them for future invoices) and click “Request the invoice”. Invoices for payments made in euro are issued in euro. The invoice is delivered by e-mail within 7 days, and in the payments table you see its status (requested / issued – with the date). Additional services and the partner programme are invoiced according to the order or quote.
How is VAT charged for companies outside Poland?
VAT depends on the country of your company’s registered office, which you select in the order window: companies from EU countries other than Poland that provide an EU VAT number – price without VAT, reverse charge (you account for VAT in your country); we check the number in the VIES system when issuing the invoice; companies in the EU without an EU VAT number – we add Polish VAT of 23%; companies outside the EU – price without VAT (the service is not subject to VAT in Poland); companies in Poland – 23% VAT. You see the full amount in euro before payment, and the invoice contains the appropriate note (e.g. “reverse charge”).
Which currency do I pay in? Can I pay from abroad?
We show prices in the currency that applies to your country, regardless of the language version of the page. The page determines it from the “Country” field in the configurator (so a producer travelling abroad still sees the prices for their own country) and, if the field is empty, from your device’s location; changing the language only changes the language of the descriptions. In the order window, the country of your company decides the currency, and you see the amount to pay before payment. Payments are handled by Przelewy24: from abroad you pay by card or online bank transfer (BLIK works only with Polish banks).
Which payment methods are available?
Card payments (Visa, Mastercard and others supported by Przelewy24) and online bank transfers. You choose the method after clicking “Proceed to payment”; the payment is processed by Przelewy24 (PayPro S.A.), and we never see or store your card details. The e-labels are added to your account automatically once the payment is confirmed.
How are e-labels counted?
One e-label is one wine with a vintage at a permanent address: your winery folder (assigned to your account) + the full wine name without spaces and special characters + the vintage, e.g. …/Wine/WinnicaPrzykladowa/RieslingReserve2023.html (not case-sensitive). We do not distinguish between “wines” and “e-labels” – they are the same thing. An e-label is used only after a successful publication of a new wine: first from purchased packs, and on an account without purchases – from the free Start option. The same address cannot belong to two accounts.
How long does the QR code work?
An e-label from a paid pack keeps the same address for at least 10 years from the transaction date, i.e. the purchase of the pack it was published from (“Your QR code always works” guarantee). The first year of hosting is included; in the following years the e-labels are kept online by the annual hosting fee (€1.90 net per e-label). A free Start e-label has its first year included; after that it is also kept online by the hosting fee. If the fee is not paid on time, the system does not switch anything off automatically – we will contact you. The guarantee date of every e-label is shown in “My account”.
Do packs expire? How does the free Start option work?
Packs never expire – the purchased e-labels wait in your account until you use them, and further packs add up (e.g. 3 + 15 = 18). We use them starting with the oldest purchase, and the 10-year guarantee runs from the date of that purchase. The free Start option gives 1 new e-label every 12 months, and only to accounts that have not bought anything. It does not accumulate and is not added to packs – after your first purchase you use packs only. When the next free one becomes available is shown in the account status.
Are corrections charged?
No. Corrections to published e-labels are free and unlimited for their whole life – in every pack and in the Start option. You change the data in the panel after logging in, and the address and QR code stay the same. Only changing the wine name or vintage is charged (uses an e-label), because that is a new address, i.e. a new e-label.
How do I correct a published e-label?
Log in, open “My account” and choose “Edit e-labels”. The data is loaded into the configurator; editing means overwriting the information: you change any fields and click “Save changes” – the new content replaces the previous one, the address does not change, so the QR code on the label remains valid. Only the wine name and vintage cannot be changed (marked “e-label address” in the configurator): they define the e-label assigned to your winery, which is linked to your account and e-mail address. Changing the name or vintage creates a new e-label (uses 1 e-label). Want to add a similar wine as a new one? In the panel click “Add as a new wine”, change the name or vintage and publish – it is a separate e-label and the previous one stays unchanged. While editing you see the “Control panel” with the page address and the “Finish editing” button. Corrections are free and unlimited for the whole life of the e-label.
How long does it take to add one wine?
A few minutes – the configurator starts from an example, so you only change what differs from it.
Regulations and cooperation
Does the e-label replace the paper label?
Partly. EU Regulation 2021/2117 allows the list of ingredients and the full nutrition declaration of wine to be provided electronically (e.g. via a QR code), but certain information must remain on the physical label, including allergens (e.g. sulphites), and the nutrition declaration there may be limited to the energy value. The e-label must not track visitors or be used for marketing purposes. Regulations change – check the current requirements; the service does not constitute legal advice.
Can I order labels to be produced or the data to be entered?
Yes. Design and printing of labels and QR code stickers are quoted individually – e-labels for the wines covered by the order are added to your account free of charge (with a permanent address for 10 years; the hosting fee applies from the second year). The “We do it for you” service (€35 net per wine) means entering the data from the laboratory analysis, calculating the nutrition values and a preview for approval; the price does not include the e-label – publication uses an e-label from your account. You order both services by e-mail (biuro@atomicsystems.pl or tel. +48 501 604 406) and pay by bank transfer against an invoice.
What are the pilot and partner programmes?
Pilot: the Vineyard pack (15 e-labels) for €29 net instead of €49 – once per account, online in the Pricing section – in return for short feedback and consent to a case study. Other rules as for regular packs (never expires, permanent address for 10 years from purchase, hosting fee from the second year). The partner programme is for printers and designers: the e-label with added graphics, printing or an original design, from €19 net per e-label or a commission – terms are agreed by e-mail and the e-labels are added to the customer’s account.
What is GS1 Digital Link and which packages include it?
GS1 Digital Link is a GS1 standard: the QR code contains a web address with the GTIN (and, for example, the batch number). The same code opens the e-label for consumers and can be read by trade and warehouse systems, making it possible to enter the product into stock records. We offer GS1 Digital Link creation in the Producer and Unlimited packages. Its scope and how it works are agreed individually, after direct contact with the customer (biuro@atomicsystems.pl, tel. +48 501 604 406). Without such arrangements, the QR code leads directly to the e-label address, and you can enter the GTIN in the configurator.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
